I think the food is very good there. But as you rightly said its not for everyone. The last couple of times i've gone have been for lunch and at other times i just order take out.

Pavo Real used to be a good, fun place to go to but the success has gone to their head and they now overcharge for below standard food. RO35 for what you guys had is waaaay too expensive for that type of food. Last time we went there we came out smelling so bad of cigarette smoke as everyone seemed to be smoking and there is very little ventilation. The band was also too loud but I like that in some ways because it is that type of restaurant- if you want a quiet meal there are a lot of other options!
